Psychiatrist / Addiction Specialist

Dr Saeed is a consultant Psychiatrist and a certified addiction specialist.

Her mission is to provide evidence based, culturally informed, patient centered psychiatric services to adults.

Dr Saeed has expertise and a special interest in

• Adult ADHD
• Autism Spectrum Disorder Assessment for Level 1 and 2
• Addiction
• Eating disorders

Dr Saeed believes that the best treatment begins with a person-centered, comprehensive evaluation and accurate diagnosis. This includes providing individualised treatment plans to people she manages. Dr Saeed has an incredible sense of fulfilment in helping manage and recover from a range of psychiatry conditions.

Dr Saeed is available for comprehensive outpatient assessments on request by General Practitioners, to provide diagnosis and a patient centred management plan.

Dr Saeed completed her medical training graduating in 2005. She has a Fellowship with the Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, having completed her psychiatric training at Royal North Shore Hospital and associated mental health services including private hospitals. She has around 10 years of experience in managing patients with a range of mental illnesses, addiction disorders and eating disorders.

She holds Masters degree in Public health and Health Management from the University of New South Wales.

Special Interests: Alcohol and other addiction disorders, eating disorders, ADHD and Workers compensation assessments.
